Surf Club Re-development

The club executive have now engaged Schriber – Hamilton architects to prepare a development application for submission to Lake Macquarie city council based on the  master plan concept drawings. The concept drawings have been developed in consultation with architects and presented at a club committee meeting. The re development will not proceed unless funding is secured and all appropriate approvals have been obtained.

The plan incorporates;

-The creation of extra gear storage and meeting room facilities

-Redevelopment of  the internal areas to provide improved facilities for members

-The provision of glass facades on the ground and first floor levels to maximise the view of the beach and adjoining -grassed recreation area.

-An extensive walk out balcony.

-Improved security measures for the facility.

The included drawings show a proposed layout and a perspective view of the appearance of the building.

At this point in the development process the executive committee would welcome constructive input and suggestions from members to one of the most exciting projects our club has embraced. Members can provide suggestions, comments and direct enquiries to info@cavesslsc.com.au or contact Darryl on 0409 180 931
