Nippers Pool Proficiency U8s to U14s

All nippers (U6-U14) are required to complete a proficiency.

In order to attend a proficiency nippers MUST be registered with the club for the 2020-21 season.

This year our U6 and U7 nippers will complete their proficiency during Sunday Nippers down at the beach in the first and second week of nippers. They are not required to come to the pool or ocean component.

U8 to U14 are required to complete the pool swim to be able to attend Sunday nippers.  

In preparation for the new season, preliminary evaluations for our nippers will be held on the following dates at Swansea Swim Centre:

• Saturday 26th September
• Saturday 10th October
• Saturday 31st October

All nippers are required to complete an evaluation if they wish to participate in our nippers program.

Due to COVID-19, there will be some changes this year. Evaluations will take place at the following times:

• Under 8’s – 2pm
• Under 9’s – 2:30pm
• Under 10’s and Under 11’s – 3:10pm
• Under 12’s, Under 13’s and Under 14’s* – 3:40pm

We ask that you please turn up at the correct time. Children will only be able to complete their evaluation at the allocated time for their age group.

*Under 14’s who have their SRC aren’t required to attend this proficiency evaluation. They will participate in the senior proficiencies. Under 13’s or 14’s undertaking their SRC are welcome to do their timed swim on one of these days. Under 6’s and 7’s are not required to attend preliminary evaluations.
