The Next Step - HSLS preseason meeting

Hunter SLS will be holding a pre season meeting at Caves Beach SLSC Monday 2nd September at 6pm
this year ALL patrol captains, Vice Captains, IRB drivers and crew are encouraged to attend as well as our club Trainers.

The night will include further education for our lifesavers in rescue situations to ensure we are rescue ready.
Items included are:
1. Surfcom and support operations roles.
2. Risk versus gain- are we set up participate in this rescue safely.
3. How to work with helicopter, police and ambulance.
4. Knowledge of working with the helicopter with winching and landing- delivered by Westpac rescue helicopter Pilot and crewman.
5. Supporting members after an incident/ rescue
the evening should finish around 8:30pm
