Caves Beach SLSC will be holding their registration days for 2019-20 season will be held on Sunday 11th, Sunday 18th and Sunday 25th August 2019 between 10am and 2pm. This season we will also be giving our existing members the opportunity to renew online, all details will be sent directly to you via email.

People wishing to join Caves Beach S.L.S.C need to complete an application for membership form and sign a declaration form as required by Surf Life Saving Australia.     

For all members over the age of 18 it is also highly recommended that you complete a Volunteer Working with Children Check through the Office of the Children’s Guardian. There is no cost involved for volunteers in obtain these checks and its recommended best practice that any surf club member over the age of 18 completes one of these volunteer checks.

Membership Categories are as follows;

  • Probationary
  • Junior Activity Member (5-13 years)
  • Cadet (13-15 years)
  • Active (15-18 years)
  • Active (18+ years)
  • Long Service
  • Associate Member*
  • Award Members*

Current Members can renew their membership by completing an application for renewal of membership form and signing a declaration form in accordance with Surf Life Saving Australia’s requirements. Application forms are available for both new and renewing members from the club registrar at the surf club nominated registration days.

*Active membership is not for everyone. Caves Beach S.L.S.C offers the opportunity for everyone in the community to become a member of the club through the Award or Associate membership categories. Associate membership is open to anyone over the age of 27 years. While Award membership requires the individual to undergo training in such disciplines as Communications, First Aid or Resuscitation. Award members can participate in aquatic safety supporting the active patrolling members.
